We are now working with a number of our neighbouring GP practices to offer improved access via GP appointments outside of our usual opening hours. This means that there are additional routine appointments across South Somerset, between 18.30 and 20.00 Monday – Friday and on Saturday mornings.
To help patients access a GP more easily, we are able to book appointments in partnership with three other local GP practices.
If you have a relevant medical concern and can’t attend an appointment during the usual clinic hours at the practice, you will be offered an alternative appointment at one of the following practices:
- Buttercross Health Centre (Run from Yeovil Health Centre)
- Crewkerne Health Centre
- Martock Surgery & South Petherton Medical Centre
You can make an appointment by ringing your registered practice as usual and the reception team will be able to advise you on which surgery and GP or health care professional are available for each appointment.
If you require urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed, please call NHS 111 for advice and access to the Urgent out of Hours GP service. If you have a life threatening injury or illness you should attend A&E, or call 999 and ask for the ambulance service.
